I’m glad Hekma stated the facts, Getting Pitts (if available) doesn’t stop us from getting solid defensive players later. IMO, 3 defensive IMPACT players from the draft with some solid play from a few defensive veterans could have us well above .500,,to include returning healthy offensive players.

I think 88 and 94 are more hallowed. They get used by great players. I get the retired numbers but other than 12 or 8, these 2 are the greatest.

I think cowboys should daft pits because Daks ankle was broken and if his injury come to play in the playoffs the we need a tight end in the red zone…

Giants pick at 11, Eagles pick at 12…. so if Pitts falls to 10…. you have to ask yourself, do you want the eagles or giants to get Pitts, after you passed on him? I think the obvious answer is… No. You don't want the eagles or giants to end up with Pitts.

Wasn't Isaiah the same guy who was talking about Dallas needing to cut Smith? Tell me again how we can't get Pitts because they already paid Jarwin

Cowboys shouldn't move up for anyone you will get a great player at 10. If anything I would trade back and get more picks to fill in holes on defense.

So Jalen didn't show it in 2018? He was a beast at the Mike in 2018… how about we slow down and realize what happened last year on defense.. nobody was giving a fuck so why would one person give a fuck.. ijs there is no way he fell off that drastically in one year I refuse to believe that

Dion, no. Did not play for Dallas long enough. Dak higher than Romo, eh, eventually, yes. Dak ahead of Dorsett, absolutely. Dorsett was flashy but came with too many weaknesses. Emmitt and Zeke are better running backs. 88 should be higher.

y'all are discussing and evaluating the numbers from the wrong, perspective. They're sacred because of their history (former players) and significance. 88 is definitely top 5 sacred numbers because it's only given to players they think will carry on the number's tradition. 9 should be considered that way. Without Romo, the Cowboys would have suffered a decade of futility without him. 82 as well now. 4? What other player has cemented a legacy for that number? Dak isn't doing that right now. 88, 94, 54 shouldn't be retired but given based on potential to carry on the legacy.

This rule about changing the numbers should not be changed this is a money grab for the league, I don't like seeing it in college and would hate to see this come to the NFL.
