This is going to be painful to watch, but I must. My Broncos just needed to beat those pesky 5-10 Bears and they get in the playoffs. Instead, my favorite Bronco of all time, Craig Morton, plays so bad that you'd think he'd been paid off to lose the game, sigh. But thanks for putting this up!

I remember this game. All Denver had to do was beat this pathetic Bears team. Denver had the top rated AFC QB in Morton, top 5 defense. Everything pointed to Denver winning. They proceeded to lay an egg and miss the playoffs with a 10-6 record. First team in NFL history to do so.

Meanwhile I think Page's former team was playing its last game at the Met right about the same time. You can see parts of the 1985 defense getting their experience alongside Page like Steve 'Mongo' McMichael (2 generations at DT), Mike Singletary and Gary Fencik.

Late 70's early 80's bears had some good teams, they just didn't have a quarterback.

Craig Morton should have been retired at this point. Certainly shouldn't have been starting.

@ 11:39… After the Fencik INT return for a TD, someone throws a snowball at him. LOL 😆
