Man, if you have the Washington/Detroit NFC Championship game with that great intro, please post that. It's like the Holy Grail of available games since the Raiders/Patriots 1976 playoff game appears lost to history.

Thank you for uploading this. The 49ers needed every win they got that year (10-6) just to make the playoffs. The Niners, Rams and Saints all finished 10-6 and SF won the division based off of tie breakers. They'd go on to win the Super Bowl.

Thanks, Rich! I have seen the replay of Steve Young's famous run hundreds of times. Now, I have finally seen the game.
Speaking of the Minnesota Vikings . . . . . . . could you possibly post the 12-1-85 game between the Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles? For many years, that game featured the largest 4th Quarter comeback in NFL history. My family and I made a Thanksgiving holiday trip to Philadelphia that year, and we attended that game. I have always been so glad we did, because it was an unforgettable contest. Now that 35 years have passed, I would love to see it again. As always, thank you very much!

Probably the greatest run in NFL history by a quarterback. We don't win this game, we don't win the Super Bowl that year.

Awesome game, unrelated, in the 1981 nfc championship there is a moment when they replay a shot of Eric Wright throwing Drew Pearson or Tony Hill to the ground and hank stram and Vin scully laugh about it and describe it. I know the catch game iis available , but not that replay in the NFL version. To Vin and hank laughing at old time football. NFL censorship conspiracy!!! Freedom of speech!

Honestly – Bob Schnelker was never a good OC. That first drive – they decide to go for it – but you line up twice on 3rd and 4th down with Vanilla Ice Cream formations – you are doomed to repeat the result. That and the stupid method by which we sent the plays in – no wonder those Vikings teams choked. Tone at the top – when it mattered most they had no spine.
