Of course he's not gonna be as good as Jeudy in production, or the other ones… he didnt have Tua, or Joe Burrow throwing him the ball

Mins is a drop specialist. Aiyuk I'm reading is as good as lamb. And same ability. Only difference is publicity. College, and one went to juco. Ps he runs a 4.42

This looks like a repeat of the 2017 draft for the 49ers. They passed on Deshaun Watson (12th overall) and Patrick Mahomes (10th overall) for a D linemen when they desperately needed a quarterback.

Fast forward, in 2020, they NEEDED a receiver and did not take the best one available with the 14th pick. Ceedee Lamb (17th overall) and Jerry Jeudy (15th overall) were overlooked. This isn't a slight at Javon Kinlaw nor Brandon Aiyuk. I just believe they would've been available in a later round. I don't feel good about the 1st round selections following a Super Bowl loss.

    Give me a damned break.🤔

He's a better scheme fit for the Niners and he'll be much more effective with a better QB and Shanahan's offensive

I went into this draft with the thought that there's no way lunch and Shannahan can't screw this up well they went and proved me wrong let's trade back to 14 and pick up a extra pick and draft Kinlaw with Ceedee lamb on the board then let's take that pick we got add the 31st and a 5th round pick to trade up to 25 to get some kid from a non big conference receiver who will not be a number 1 or number 2 and leave ourselves with 2 picks in the next 6 rounds wooohooo great job 9ers

They also traded up to get Pettis. Just saying. I wouldn’t call 5’11 “perfect size”. 4.5 speed is nothing to talk about either. The fact they moved up to grab him, I’d give them a C. I also wouldn’t call Lynch’s draft picks as great either. They whiffed on Thomas, Pettis and Witherspoon.

I'm cool with Kinlaw at 14, I would of rather drafted Mims at 31 (kept picks 117 & 176) drafted J. Johnson at 117 we targeted 3 of the 4 needs.

Not sure why ppl keep saying we needed to get a #1 WR. In the "old" NFL you had #1`s. Shanahan is creating something new so get up to speed on this. Plus many don`t know but Deebo was the #1 at South Carolina and dominated many games, including Clemson. We have our beast TE, multi-beast head RB group, now adding Aiyuk to Deebo and if Taylor/Hurd come back healthy, this offense will be scary. No one saw our defense coming last year. I feel that way about our offense.

I trust shannahan, I see the potential in him, but my question is: why trade up to get a WR that NO ONE is looking at? I mean, we could´ve got him at the #31 pick and not loose the 4th and 5th round picks.

Scheme him open….. SMH. Ok we'll see what happens. I see KC hasn't taught us anything about speed, and having 3 number 1's at the receiver position.

Too bad TM so often misunderstands the mentality of the modern Niners front office. The very winning Niners f.o. studied the crop of receivers thoroughly and I bet they got it right.
