No there not in trouble, it's a simple fix, fix the offensive line and get rid of Gurley. They already got rid of wade Philips that was another problem

Can you also mention as well that the 49ers were 10-3 in close games this year. What about the Seahawks being 8-1 in games decided less then 8 points. Before you go on and critic the rams have your facts straight. Every season is different and no matter what happens the ball may bounce different next season against both teams. You may get a few penalties called in key spots that weren’t called the previous year or that game winning touchdown bounces off of the WRs hands. All I’m trying to say is come correct when talking about the division. Talk about how the rams with that roster should’ve beat the Seahawks on Thursday night football with that FG that missed by maybe 3 inches. (Again referring to teams changing year by year). The season before Greg the leg makes that FG and we win. We were a missed FG and a no call against pittsburgh away from being an 11-5 team possibly having the number 5 seed. Yes we had some horrid performances during the season where our defense let up a ton of points but for next season that issue has been addressed. Not to mention the Rams went San Fran and lost by a FG due to wade phillips lack of attention to detail on two third and Longs. We should’ve got the ball back and won that game. Criticize Goff but he was balling that game when everyone thought he would struggle. Yes he threw the pick 6 which is inexcusable. Cut that play out and it’s a tremendous game by him. That’s why I’m contradicting what your saying. You have valid points about the contract but failed to dive into the specifics of what could happen and how sneed could change everything.

The rams don’t have much room in cap space yes. But you failed to realize restructuring Goff, Donald, Gurley, and Cooks contract could free up 80 million in cap space for next season. Which then allows us to keep the team together this season but also find a trading partner that may want Gurley or cooks. It’s very possible we can trade Gurley for a 5th round pick and have someone take on 70% of the contract and we’re only responsible for the remaining 30%. This could very well happen with cooks and Gurley. The better package could be for cooks which we may get a 3rd rounder back along with half of his salary being dumped which again opens us up for flexibility. That’s why I’m not worried. They’re tremendously talented and a team may take on them at a low risk high reward trade. With that being said you have the space to resign the core guys like Ramsey and Kupp and make other choices with the roster. In my opinion Okoronkwo, and Howard should be the heir apparent replacements for Littleton and Fowler. They were coached up and have big time athletic ability. Look at the tape on both of them and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Howard is a more athletic version of Corey Littleton once he hits his max potential which could very well peak by the end of next season. Okoronkwo is a phenomenal pass rusher that on tape from what I saw on limited snaps looks more explosive then Fowler. Also let me not forget to add this to you. Injuries, and energy vary from year to year. The bears had the number 1 defense last year and this year they were in the 8-10 range if I’m not mistaken. They weren’t as elite which is why you saying they have to face the big bad 49ers and Seahawks is irrelevant. An argument could be made had we executed against the 49ers in week 6 and don’t drop that pick 6 or fumble that ball after half which put them in the red zone we win that game. Putting us at 3-1 against the big bad teams of the west. Not to mention we beat the brakes off of Seattle on Sunday night football. We shall see going forward

The draft situation is far from ideal, however, recently Snead has proven to get key producers/starters in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Rams have done it the past 2 years and will need to continue nailing these mid round picks.
Unfortunately Gurley is not the back he once was. Careful analysis of his 15’, 16’ seasons where his offensive lines were even worse than his 19’ line he still produced. He dropped many passes in 19’, seemed to lack grit when things didn’t open up like maybe he wanted to. Again the film doesn’t lie. Early in his career he made things happen even with a subpar offensive line. McVay IS THE MAN!! No question. He took a perennial loser and has a winning season in each of his 3 seasons. A couple plays here and there and the Rams are easily 11-5. Despite that, the coaching turnover will be interesting. How do they replace Fassel and Phillips? If anyone can, McVay can!

The "real truth" is that this is just a game. A game that people enjoy watching and playing. It has no real significance in the true measure of life. Enjoy it all for what it is, entertainment.

When he says the 9ers "unfortunately ran into the best player in football", that leads me to believe he's a frisco fan.

Don't be fooled , the offense is in transition to pass first , Go look at the game vs Sanfran pass heavy play action the emergence of will change the rams completely with another elite Catcher and don't be surprised if Brandon cooks doesn't bounce back
